New for the 2018 Season – Coaching Services from PFT Solutions and the Monster Racing Team!

Monster Racing, working with PFT Solutions are keen to establish coaching services to complement our events calendar.

Paul, PFT coach (and Monster RD), has successfully coached a mixture of endurance athletes over the years. These athletes include numerous Ironman finishers, triathletes, marathon swimmers, cyclists – road and TT, cross country mountain bikers and competitive runners. As we enter the 2018 pre-season he is now looking to bring his coaching programme under the Monster Racing Team banner. The ethos of this Team will be that of a ‘rising tide’; it will float all boats. This will enable all participants to be the best that they can be, so that they can do the same to others.

In the future we will be publicising exactly which services will be available – our provisional programme includes 1 to 1 coaching, group training, online coaching, day workshops and training camps. The programme will not only include the core elements of Swim, Bike & Run but also Strength & Conditioning, Nutrition and a strong focus on Health & Well-being. There is a highly motivated and varied coaching staff to ensure that the quality of the coaching is of the highest possible standard.

Paul is a multiple Ironman finisher and in 2013 finished 8th in the Slovenia double ultra (double iron distance) World Cup race. He is a coach on the BTF High Performance Coaching Programme, a Sports Science graduate, professional member of the British Association of Sports and Exercise Scientists (BASES), a Chartered Institute for the Management of Sports and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) Practitioner in Exercise and Fitness and a Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) Level 3 Personal Trainer (currently working towards the advanced Level 4 at the European Institute of Fitness). He has continued his professional development by completing the BTF Head Coach and Strength & Conditioning modules, as well as becoming an Accredited Advisor with UK Anti-Doping.

The 2017/18 Cohort will be limited, if you would like to register an interest in these services please email paul@monsterracing.net.
