Testimonials – Mojito

David Gorley, 1st Male, 2018:
“I thought it was an excellent event. Well marshaled by friendly volunteers who were on point with the directions, a simple and easy to follow swim course and an interesting technical run.”
Anna McGlaughlin, 3rd Female, 2018:
“This is my second year at the Mojito and it remains a solid triathlon. The organisation is great, there’s loads of marshals, the swim is warm if not a little weedy due to its shallowness, and the run is a mix of tarmac and trail but all off road and pretty. Plenty to take your mind off the inevitable early season race pain! It will be back in my race calendar next year.”
Jessica Denman, 1st Female, 2017:
“This was my second time racing the Monster Mojito Triathlon. Last year I entered the Mojito as my first Olympic Distance Triathlon and enjoyed it so much I returned to have another go. Its a great race early in the triathlon calendar with a warm swim in the rowing lake, fast bike course on quiet roads, and a scenic run. I’ll be back again next year!”

Jack Hall, 1st Male, 2016:
“Best race I’ve done in a long time, encapsulates everything triathlon should be about. For an early season race to have a warm swim, fast bike course and picturesque run means I will definitely be back next year.”
Rob Scothern, 2nd Male, 2016:
“THE perfect season opener; if you’re looking for a relaxed, well-organised event that manages to cram a spectator friendly course, great atmosphere and heart-pounding racing into a truly first rate venue then look no further! Monster Racing have somehow pulled off the seemingly impossible and created two gems in the British Tri calendar…can’t wait to race next year!”
Hayley Rigby, 2nd Female, 2016:
“The Monster mojito in Peterborough was a great race location starting with an easy to navigate swim in the rowing lake.  The bike course was one of the best I have come across for an Olympic distance triathlon, with only 1 lap and a few small hills and nice quiet and scenic roads.  Finished off with a run around the lake, with great motivational support from all the marshals. Also, most importantly the food in the finishers tent was great!”
Sarah Swaney, 2nd Female, 2015:
“Such a good option for an early season race – warmer water than most, fast bike course and a run through parks. Super well organised, with that passionate Monster vibe!
Very friendly feel to the event – well supported locally with friendly marshals and supporters. And as always with Monster, generous on the prizes. High recommended.”
Naomi Gayler, 3rd Female, 2014:
Great racing at the Monster Mojito this weekend – lovely friendly local feel, well marshalled, easy registration and racking and of course a good podium and prizes. I would definitely recommend it to others – the course is varied and very scenic.
